Dale Jarrett returns to the drivers seat.

March 7, 2009 - Former NASCAR driver and current ESPN racing analyst, Dale Jarrett, climbed in a race car for the first time since his retirement from driving at last May’s All-Star race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.  Dale was back behind the wheel for a very special Fan Club event at Talladega Superspeedway where he thrilled 50 lucky Fan Club members with 3-lap rides around the 2.66 mile track.

The Fan Club event was held in conjunction with the Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure driving school.  Some of the Fan Club members in attendance had also signed up to participate in the driving school and were able to experience driving a stock car around the track in addition to
riding with DJ.  Many members also brought along family and friends to enjoy this wonderful experience.  Fans came from as far away as Wisconsin and Montana and Dale certainly made it worth their while!  He even made a surprise visit during the Fan Club luncheon to speak to everyone and answer questions.

Although it was great to see DJ back in a race car, he assured his fans that this special event was the extent of his return to driving!  He really enjoyed the experience and was glad to be able to provide his loyal Fan Club members with such a fun opportunity.  When asked if he would consider doing an event like this again, Jarrett’s response was a resounding “yes!”  He also made it very clear however that he loves his new career as an analyst for ESPN and has no plans to return to professional racing.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
